Contact Person

The contact person for international stays in the Department of Social Work is Prof. Dr. Frederik von Harbou, the coordinator for the department’s international relations. He advises you on suitable study programs abroad, receives your module comparison for planned Erasmus stays, and is responsible for reviewing and signing Learning Agreements.

The International Office, on the other hand, supports you with all other questions regarding studying abroad (e.g., financing or contact with the host university).

 

Consultation Hours for Studying Abroad

To clarify your wishes and concerns regarding a stay abroad, please first carefully review the information on this homepage. Then, participate as early as possible in one of the regularly offered consultation sessions for studying abroad. These are held regularly as group sessions online in this Big Blue Button room:

No prior registration is required.

Each semester, three sessions take place on Thursdays from 5–6 p.m. In the current semester, the sessions will be held on the following dates:

• November 7, 2024
• December 5, 2024
• January 16, 2025

A representative from the International Office usually participates in these sessions, and if possible, students who have already completed a stay abroad also join.
